handshake 1. Acceptance of Terms & Entity Scope
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between VedhamRoots ("Academy", "we", "us", or "our"), having its administrative studio at No 260/55, Vedhamroots, Utthari, Badekatte, Kaggalipura Post, Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru - 560082, Karnataka, India, and the parent or legal guardian ("Parent", "Guardian", "User", or "You") registering a student for live online courses, micro-batches, or offline workshops.
By accessing our website (vedhamroots.com), booking a trial class, submitting an admissions form, or paying tuition fees, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our accompanying Privacy Policy.
Minors below 18 years of age are not permitted to enter into this contract independently. By completing any enrollment or payment, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to enroll the student on whose behalf you are acting.

group_work 3. Enrollment, Batch Scheduling & Micro-Batch Ratio
To ensure intimate educator attention, VedhamRoots limits general cohorts to micro-batches of 1:4 (maximum 4 students per acharya/mentor).
- check_circle Age-Appropriate Placement: Batches are structured by age brackets (e.g. 4–6 yrs, 7–10 yrs, 11–15 yrs, Adults). The Academy reserves the right to reassign a student to an age-matched cohort if misallocated.
- check_circle Global Time Zones: Cohort timings are offered across Indian Standard Time (IST), US Eastern/Pacific (EST/PST), Gulf Standard Time (GST), British Summer Time (BST), and Australian Eastern Time (AEST).
- check_circle Batch Transfer Requests: Parents may request a transfer to an alternate schedule slot with 7 days written notice to the admissions team, subject to batch seat availability.
receipt_long 4. Tuition Fees, Currencies & Billing Cycles
Tuition fees are clearly published prior to enrollment and billed on a monthly, quarterly, or milestone course basis. All payments must be received in advance prior to the commencement of the scheduled batch.
Tuition is accepted in Indian Rupees (INR) for domestic students and respective local currencies (USD, GBP, AED, EUR, CAD, AUD, SGD) for international cohorts via certified gateways.
The tuition fee covers all live educator hours, downloadable Devanagari worksheets, audio pronunciation guides, and milestone digital certificates.
currency_ruble 5. Cancellation, Missed Classes & Transparent Refund Policy
VedhamRoots is dedicated to parent satisfaction and fair educational commerce. Our refund and cancellation terms comply with international consumer protection and Google Merchant policies:
If you attend your initial paid trial class and feel the teaching methodology or pacing does not suit your child, you are eligible for a 100% full refund provided the request is raised via WhatsApp or email within 24 hours of the trial class completion.

spa 6. Virtual Gurukulam Code of Conduct & Decorum
VedhamRoots classrooms are sacred sanctuaries of learning, mutual respect, and cultural reverence. Parents and students agree to uphold the following standards:
- verified_user Punctuality & Preparedness: Students should join virtual sessions 3–5 minutes prior with notebooks and study materials ready.
- verified_user Video & Audio Protocol: Cameras should remain turned on to facilitate accurate shloka lip-movement and pronunciation coaching, within a quiet, well-lit space.
- verified_user Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Any disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior towards mentors or fellow classmates will result in immediate removal and forfeiture of enrollment without refund.
copyright 7. Intellectual Property & Course Materials
All curriculum frameworks, pedagogical formulas, recitation worksheets, Devanagari pronunciation transliterations, visual slide decks, audio recordings, logos, brand trademarks, and domain content are the exclusive intellectual property of VedhamRoots.
Enrolled students and guardians are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable revocable license for personal, non-commercial home practice only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, upload to public repositories, or create derivative commercial courses from our materials.
devices 8. Technical Requirements & Guardian Supervision
The User is responsible for ensuring adequate broadband internet connectivity (minimum 10 Mbps recommended), an operational webcam, and a noise-reducing headset or microphone for the student.
For young learners (under 7 years), we encourage a parent or guardian to sit nearby during initial sessions to assist with device setup and foster an encouraging home learning environment.
shield 9. Educational Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
VedhamRoots programs are designed for cultural enrichment, spiritual heritage appreciation, linguistic mastery, and character development. We do not guarantee specific formal school grades or external university admissions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, VedhamRoots’ total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or any enrolled course shall not exceed the actual tuition fee paid by the parent for the specific batch or term giving rise to the claim.
account_balance 10. Governing Law, Arbitration & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of India.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of this Agreement shall first be resolved amicably through mutual good-faith consultation. If unresolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
